Over the last six months, I have served as a Web Software Engineer on the E-commerce team. Although my work at Whoop has spanned many areas including frontend, backend, and even dev-ops, I have had a primary focus on enhancing our frontend capabilities as one of the only two developers in this area on the team. This diverse, yet specialized experience has allowed me to significantly contribute to the improvement and optimization of our e-commerce platforms while honing my skills.

However, most importantly, I was a crucial team member in re-architecting and building a new Join Flow platform which currently boasts over a million monthly visitors.
Previously, the platform suffered from scalability issues due to many unnecessarily redundant integrated technologies. This resulted in team members being forced to work across overly complex tech stacks, resulting in numerous problems in product information and inventory management. It would take even a senior engineer over a month to add a single new country. By leveraging commercetools as the sole platform for our new system, we are now effectively positioned to meet Whoop's long-term goals for international expansion.
